MEET THE TEAM
This summer you'll be working with various media teachers and special guests. We'll update this page to add teachers and guests as they appear.
John is an idea guy. A problem solver. A big thinker. (He's on Level 104 of Candy Crush.) He's the creative energy behind CPM. He gets things done. He is a huge fan of a good story: be that in comics or on YouTube. He's also a pastor, church planter, youth worker, scientist, sports fan, husband and dad. But most of all, he loves Jesus and wants everyone to know the good, good Father.
Alena is a second-year Media Studies student at the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto. She's good with computers and makes a mean quinoa salad. She also really enjoys graphic design, photography, writing and all things creative. Sharing a good story is important to her and she wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity to have a creative outlet to spread God's Word effectively.
FILM assistant & program instructor
Brendan de la Rambelje
Brendan is an enthusiastic and passionate independent film maker dedicated to sending a strong message in every project. He attended Vancouver Film School for two years studying a wide range of visual arts. The Film Production program allowed him to develop skills as a film maker, team leader and a collaborative worker supplying him with the knowledge and hands-on experience to express emotions professionally. Through this he hopes to inspire and spread God's word.
George is a former pastor, volunteer youth worker and avid supporter of Christian camp ministries. In 2009, he began Teens 2 Serve Jesus which seeks to promote a Christian worldview and aid in encouraging teens to stretch their faith and honour God through ministry. Through connecting with youth, George believes we can help the church thrive and grow amidst the constant pressures of the secular world. Helping teens to grow in faith is his ultimate goal.
