WHERE WILL WE GET THE MONEY TO FUND ALL THIS?

Like the rocket that took America to the moon, we expect to be funded from 3 different stages.

Ground

To get off the ground, we’ll need a huge boost of capital, that is, generous gifts and grants from individuals, churches, foundations, and governments. Mixed in with this rocket fuel, will be non-monetary gifts like hospitality, travel, volunteer hours in our office or on a film set. Gifts of land and buildings will greatly accelerate the construction of new schools in various locations.

Atmosphere

Students have been part of our mission from the very start. But once we have buildings and staff to have full-time film schools, we will be collecting significant fees in tuition. This will boost our ability to hire staff and purchase equipment. Tuition fees will also allow us to give scholarships to deserving but less well-off students.

Orbit

Our third stage booster will take us out of the earth’s atmosphere and into orbit. We plan to work together with churches and groups to create films of all lengths. In fact, one of our goals is that within 10 years we (and the groups we train) will be producing 10 films a year. While films are expensive, we have a plan to create great movies at a fraction of the normal cost, and it will not be long before revenue from the movies we co-produce is also growing. Income from this stage could eventually supply all our needs. Of course, once we are in orbit, we expect to set up our own endowment to provide long-term stability.
